Compare your results with other churches

Within a few months of product launch, when the customer base has grown and many churches are participating, we will give you and all our other customers the ability to compare your own church’s results with the aggregated results from all other churches on questions shared by those churches.

That’s another advantage of having the Master Collection of all approved survey questions – everyone that uses “Question A-16,” for example, on their own church surveys will be able to compare their results against the combined results from all other churches using that same question.

But make no mistake – every individual church’s survey results are available ONLY to that church and will never be shared with anyone else.

1What is different about Church Signals?
This survey tool gathers feedback from congregations in a COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS way. There is literally no way for church leaders to connect survey responses with the member’s identity, so the feedback is more honest and candid.
2I see Church Signals is a “do-it-yourself” tool. Is it hard to use or does it require that I have survey experience?
Not at all. The tool is built so people with no survey-writing experience can create excellent, productive questionnaires and use them with their congregations. Our senior staff have written all the questions from which you may choose the ones most relevant to your church and situation, so you know all questions are professionally developed.
3How do I build my own Church Signals questionnaire to use with my congregation?
It’s easy – you log into your Church Signals customer dashboard and select “Manage Questionnaire.” You’ll see an empty mock-up tablet screen on one side and the “Master Collection” of all available questions (categorized for your convenience) on the right. For each question you want to use with your church, you drag it from the Master Collection and drop it into your tablet object. You can change the order of the questions easily by dragging and dropping, too. When you’re finished, click “SAVE” and your questionnaire is good to go.
4Once I create my questionnaire, can I make changes later?
YES! That’s a main point of the Church Signals approach. You can change the questionnaire any time you wish, adding and deleting questions from the Master Collection. You can have only one questionnaire active for your church’s account at any time, though.
5Suppose my church distributes 200 printed bulletins every Sunday. How would I get the survey keys into those bulletins?
You could buy 250 survey keys and print them off on commonly available preformatted sticker sheets (such as “Avery” labels), using a feature on the Church Signals dashboard. When you set up your copy for the weekly church bulletin, create a section where you show www.chsig.net, the survey login website. Leave a space where you can mash one sticker (with a survey key) onto each bulletin, next to that web address. Then, during service, announce to the congregation what the sticker and survey are for and ask them to visit it when they get home, share their opinions anonymously, and help make the church better. We give you sample announcement text to use or modify as you wish.
6Does the tool work with multiple languages?
YES – at this stage Church Signals is bilingual (English and Spanish), but we will add support for more languages as our customers require it. Every question in the Master Collection is written in both languages, so every parishioner answering a Church Signals questionnaire may see and answer either an English or Spanish web questionnaire.
